Adopt a Coral Through Our Partnership with Coral Planters

When you purchase a print from this collection, you directly contribute to the adoption of coral through The Coral Planters,

and you’ll even be able to follow the growth and progress of your adopted coral over time.

Coral Planters is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring coral reefs and preserving marine biodiversity through innovative restoration techniques, education, and building a community that will continuously support our ocean's reefs.

Over the past decade, the organization has evolved into a global force for reef conservation, actively engaged in areas such as the Maldives, Rodrigues Island, and Nacala Bay in Mozambique.

Coral Restoration & Reef Creation
The Coral Planters deploy metal frame structures overlaid with sand and natural resin, developed by marine engineers, to hold coral fragments and foster reef development. These innovative artificial reefs are monitored over time for growth and success.

Scientific Partnerships & Innovative Technologies
Collaborating with scientists, engineers, and experts, The Coral Planters continuously refine their restoration techniques. This includes data gathering, photographic monitoring of structures, and field research to improve outcomes.

Education & Public Awareness
Their outreach extends to educational initiatives such as the "Edu'Coral" program, raising public understanding of coral ecosystems through school visits and community activities.

Geographic Impact
Starting in the Maldives, The Coral Planters now maintain multiple restoration sites across the archipelago and Rodrigues Island. They've recently expand even further with a new project in Mozambique in 2025.
